In Friday's non-league test, the Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), by a score of 51-5.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Sunlake Seahawks (Land O' Lakes, FL) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 16. Springstead will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Seahawks come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 53-5 non-league win over Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate (Tampa, FL).

The Bears (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Hornets come into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Weeki Wachee bounced Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL), 41-30, in a league test.
