In Friday's league contest, the host Fort Chiswell Pioneers basketball team scored a big 57-33 triumph over the Grayson County Blue Devils.

The Pioneers (14-0) will now prepare for their contest against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles go into the Mountain Empire contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Auburn was trounced by Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA), 58-41, in a league contest.
