Colorado High School Basketball - Mountain View fells Severance

Mountain View Mountain Lions (Loveland, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO), 56-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Mountain Lions travel to Fort Morgan (Fort Morgan, CO) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-16. Fort Morgan lost 44-25 in their recent non-league bout against Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO)

Next up, the Silver Knights clash with the Niwot Cougars (Niwot, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Severance will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 83-16 league loss to Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO).
