Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mountain View knocked off by Elk Lake
January 27, 2023: Kingsley, PA 18826 The Elk Lake Warriors basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Mountain View Eagles to 30 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Forge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Elk Lake will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 62-33 league loss to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-5.
The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Ridge (New Milford, PA). The Raiders enter the Lackawanna 4 contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Blue Ridge ran past Sayre (Sayre, PA), 75-41, in a non-league contest.
