Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Forest City thwarts Mountain View
February 3, 2023: Forest City, PA 18421 The Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA), 49-38 in Friday's league test.
The Foresters (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Mid Valley notched a victory over Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA), 54-45, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Montrose for a Lackawanna 4 test on Tuesday, February 7. Mountain View will encounter a Meteors squad coming off a 53-31 league win over Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA). The Meteors record now stands at 5-10.
