Texas High School Basketball - Reedy holds off Lone Star
January 27, 2023: Frisco, TX 75034 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX), saw Reedy's basketball squad hold off Lone Star by a tally of 44-40.
With the victory, Reedy improves its record to 15-15 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Turner (Carrollton, TX) to confront the Lions in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-24. Turner lost 60-8 in their recent league challenge against Wakeland (Frisco, TX)
Next up, the Rangers confront the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Lone Star will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 10-17 record after their 35-26 league loss to The Colony (The Colony, TX).
