Arizona High School Basketball - Pinnacle triumphant over Mountain Ridge

Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), witnessed Pinnacle's basketball squad rout Mountain Ridge by a count of 56-25.

With the victory, Pinnacle advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Pioneers host Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ) to meet the Hawks in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 28. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 7-8. Gila Ridge won 43-31 in their recent league battle against Kofa (Yuma, AZ)

The Mountain Lions now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they host O'Connor for a 6A Desert Valley challenge on Friday, January 30. Mountain Ridge will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-35 league win over Liberty (Peoria, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 15-2.
