Arizona High School Basketball - Mesquite routs Saguaro

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mesquite Wildcats basketball team scored a big 97-35 win over the Saguaro Sabercats.

The Wildcats (21-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ). The Padres come into the 4A Desert Sky contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, Marcos de Niza was trounced by St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ), 46-15, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Sabercats battle the Arcadia Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky contest, on Friday, January 31. Saguaro will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 3-15 record after their 60-25 league loss to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ).
