The Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) basketball were winner over the visiting Patagonia Lobos (Patagonia, AZ), 38-27 in Thursday's league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind for a 1A South bout on Monday, February 2. Valley Union will encounter a Sentinels squad coming off a 35-14 non-league win over Washington School for the Deaf (Vancouver, WA). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-10.

The Lobos (5-11) will now prepare for their test against San Manuel (San Manuel, AZ). The Miners come into the non-league test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, San Manuel was knocked off by San Simon (San Simon, AZ), 44-17, in a non-league test.
