Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), saw Veterans Memorial's basketball squad wallop Smithson Valley by a tally of 76-53.

With the victory, Veterans Memorial improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Seguin (Seguin, TX) to confront the Matadors in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Seguin lost 67-62 in their recent league challenge against Wagner (San Antonio, TX)
