California High School Basketball - Citrus Hill fells West Valley

January 30, 2023: Hemet, CA 92545

Citrus Hill Hawks (Perris, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), 72-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Citrus Hill upgrades its record to 5-22 on the season. The Hawks host San Jacinto (San Jacinto, CA) to play the Tigers in a Mountain Pass bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-16. San Jacinto lost 89-42 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Winchester, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Perris Panthers (Perris, CA) in a Mountain Pass bout, on Wednesday, February 1. West Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-14 record after their 87-81 league win over Tahquitz (Hemet, CA).
