Nebraska High School Basketball - Chambers/Wheeler Central can't hold off Boyd County

January 30, 2023: Chambers, NE 68725

The Boyd County Spartans basketball team scored 25 points and held the host Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades to 21 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuart for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Boyd County will battle a Broncos team coming off a 71-52 non-league loss to North Central (Bassett, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 5-10.

The Renegades (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Santee (Santee, NE). The Warriors enter the D2 District 5 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Santee was nudged by West Holt (Atkinson, NE), 64-27, in a non-league contest.
