The Southeast Halifax Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Weldon Chargers to 49 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to KIPP Pride for a 1A Tar Roanoke contest on Thursday, February 1. Southeast Halifax will meet a Pride team coming off a 77-61 league loss to Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Pride record now stands at 7-8.

The Chargers (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Jaguars enter the 1A Tar Roanoke contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Northampton County ran past Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC), 83-61, in a league contest.
