January 30, 2024: Black Mountain, NC 28711 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), by a margin of 46-21.
The Cougars (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Avery County (Newland, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Avery County was trounced by Mitchell (Bakersville, NC), 54-29, in a league outing.
The Warhorses now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Madison for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 31.
