In Thursday's league test, the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), by a score of 52-20.

Next, the Crusaders encounter the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores test, on Friday, January 31. Christ the King will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 6-10 record after their 45-31 league win over Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC).

The Cardinals (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Community School of Davidson was routed by Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 66-34, in a league test.
