The Marcos de Niza Padres basketball squad (Tempe, AZ), was crushed 75-24 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ)

With the victory, Cactus Shadows advances its record to 20-4 on the year. The Falcons host Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Titans in a 4A Desert Sky battle on Tuesday, February 3. The Titans enter the battle with a record of 2-16. Arcadia lost 43-21 in their recent league battle against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ)

The Padres now own a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mesquite for a 4A Desert Sky battle on Tuesday, February 3. Marcos de Niza will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 82-23 league win over St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-8.
