Connecticut High School Basketball - Wilton nudges Staples

Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), 69-68 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilton upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Darien (Darien, CT) to clash with the Blue Wave in a Fairfield County bout on Saturday, February 4. The Blue Wave go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Darien won 57-36 in their recent league bout against Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT)

Next up, the Wreckers clash with the McMahon Senators (Norwalk, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Friday, February 3. Staples will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Senators go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 66-49 league loss to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT).
