The Staples Wreckers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Ridgefield Tigers to 54 in the Wreckers league triumph on Friday.

The Wreckers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Canaan for a Fairfield County contest on Tuesday, January 10. Staples will meet a Rams team coming off a 60-57 league loss to Danbury (Danbury, CT). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.
