The Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) basketball were victorious over the host Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT), 71-54 in Wednesday's non-league match.

In their next game, the Wreckers meet the Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 3. Staples will attempt to better on its 17-5 season record. The Hatters enter the match with a 19-2 record after their 52-41 non-league win over Stamford (Stamford, CT).
