Illinois High School Basketball - Kaneland tops Ottawa
January 31, 2024: Ottawa, IL 61350 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) and the host Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL), saw Kaneland's basketball squad knock off Ottawa by a count of 50-33.
With the victory, Kaneland upgrades its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Morris (Morris, IL) to play the Redskins in a Interstate Eight challenge on Friday, February 2. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Morris lost 60-45 in their recent league challenge against LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL)
Next up, the Pirates play the Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Ottawa will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 61-42 league win over Harvard (Harvard, IL).
