North Carolina High School Basketball - Freedom overwhelms Hibriten

The Freedom Patriots basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting Hibriten Panthers to 44 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Caldwell for a 3A/4A Northwestern game on Tuesday, February 4. Freedom will play a Spartans team coming off a 80-61 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Hibriten falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Panthers host Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC) to play the Huskies in a 3A/4A Northwestern game on Tuesday, February 4. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 6-11. Ashe County lost 59-29 in their recent league game against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)
