North Carolina High School Basketball - Freedom victorious over Ashe County

February 7, 2025: West Jefferson, NC 28694

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Freedom Patriots basketball team scored a good 68-55 triumph over the Ashe County Huskies.

The Patriots (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers go into the 3A/4A Northwestern contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Watauga topped Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 62-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies confront the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a 3A/4A Northwestern contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Ashe County will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 15-6 record after their 63-47 league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
