The Alexander Central Cougars bounced the visiting Ashe County Huskies basketball squad by a final score of 69-32 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Cougars face the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a 3A/4A Northwestern outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Alexander Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
