The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Williams Field Black Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), observed Williams Field's basketball team edge Highland by a score of 50-46.

The Black Hawks (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Tigers come into the 6A Fiesta challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, Gilbert edged Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ), 64-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Queen Creek Bulldogs (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 6A Fiesta challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Highland will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record.
