North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman Charter toppled by Northwest Cabarrus

Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 76-57 in a league match.

With the victory, Northwest Cabarrus upgrades its record to 16-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to face the Falcons in a 3A South Piedmont match on Tuesday, February 4. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 1-16.

The Knights now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a 3A South Piedmont match on Tuesday, February 4. Lake Norman Charter will face a Vikings squad coming off a 58-46 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-12.
