January 17, 2025: Concord, NC 28025

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans nipped the host Central Cabarrus Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 28-21 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Trojans clash with the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 14-3 record after their 71-51 league win over Concord (Concord, NC).

The Vikings (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars enter the 3A South Piedmont outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, Carson was nipped by Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 67-32, in a league outing.
