North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Cabarrus triumphant over South Rowan

December 20, 2024: Concord, NC 28025

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) and the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), observed Central Cabarrus's basketball team overwhelm South Rowan by a score of 65-27.

The Vikings (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, West Stanly trounced Central Academy (Monroe, NC), 71-22, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Friday, January 3. South Rowan will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
