The Amherst Bulldogs basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Cotton Center Elks to 39 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anton for a 1A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Elks (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Meadow (Meadow, TX). The Broncos enter the 1A Region I District 7 contest with a 7-8 record.
