Maryland High School Basketball - St. Andrew's Episcopal trounces Georgetown Day

The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) basketball triumphed over the visiting Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), 98-42 in Friday's league match.

In their next game, the Lions meet the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 7. St. Andrew's Episcopal will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Saints enter the match with a 6-8 record after their 63-58 league loss to St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA).

With the defeat, Georgetown Day moves to 0-6 on the year. The Mighty hoppers travel to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to meet the Huskies in a VISAA Division I match on Thursday, January 12. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 5-7.
