Washington, DC High School Basketball - Georgetown Day overwhelmed by Potomac School
January 24, 2023: Washington, DC 20007 The Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers basketball team (Washington, DC), was overwhelmed 76-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA)
The Panthers now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sidwell Friends for a Mid-Atlantic battle on Monday, January 30. Potomac School will confront a Quakers team coming off a 79-44 league win over Flint Hill (Oakton, VA). The Quakers record now stands at 14-4.
The Mighty Hoppers (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Lions come into the Mid-Atlantic battle with a 15-3 record.
