January 7, 2025: Magnolia, MS 39652 The South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS) basketball were winner over the visiting Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS), 57-48 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a 3A Region 7 bout on Friday, January 10. South Pike will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-31 league win over Wesson (Wesson, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-9.
With the loss, Jefferson County falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Franklin County (Meadville, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Franklin County lost 60-49 in their recent league bout against South Pike (Magnolia, MS)
