In Thursday's non-league test, the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) basketball squad knocked off the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), by a score of 51-42.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 16. McCool Junction will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record.
