In Saturday's non-league test, the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) basketball squad got by the visiting High Plains Storm (Polk, NE), by a score of 54-49.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 17. McCool Junction will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 46-38 non-league win over Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE).
