Illinois High School Volleyball - Waubonsie Valley tips Metea Valley

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Metea Valley Mustangs.

The Warriors (11-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 18-1 record. In their last challenge, Oswego edged Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Metea Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 22-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-21 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL).
