The Canton Eagles volleyball squad (Canton, TX), dropped 3-1 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Van Vandals (Van, TX)

With the win, Van improves its record to 27-7 on the season. The Vandals host Kemp (Kemp, TX) to meet the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region II District 15 contest on Tuesday, October 14. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a record of 3-23. Kemp lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Lindale (Lindale, TX)

Next, the Eagles meet the Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX) in a 4A Region II District 15 contest, on Tuesday, October 14. Canton will attempt to move on its 25-14 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 7-20 record after their 3-1 league loss to Athens (Athens, TX).
