Texas High School Volleyball - Canton edged by Van

The Canton Eagles volleyball squad (Canton, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Van Vandals (Van, TX)

With the win, Van improves its record to 21-7 on the season. The Vandals travel to Kemp (Kemp, TX) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region II District 15 battle on Friday, September 19. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a record of 3-17.

The Eagles now own a 20-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mabank for a 4A Region II District 15 battle on Friday, September 19. Canton will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Athens (Athens, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-15.
