The Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX) volleyball held off the visiting Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX), 3-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Bobcats now possess a 15-23 record. They play next when they host Sanger for a 4A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, October 14. Celina will battle a Indians squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Richland (Prosper, TX). The Indians record now stands at 22-16.
