The Van Alstyne Panthers volleyball squad (Van Alstyne, TX), was defeated 3-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Richland Raiders (Prosper, TX)

With the win, Richland improves its record to 10-10 on the season. The Raiders travel to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX) to encounter the Chaparrals in a 4A Region II District 9 battle on Friday, September 12. The Chaparrals go into the battle with a record of 28-2. Aubrey won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX)

The Panthers now own a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sanger for a 4A Region II District 9 battle on Friday, September 12. Van Alstyne will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Panther Creek (Frisco, TX). The Indians record now stands at 18-11.
