Texas High School Volleyball - Richland can't get by Celina

Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX) followers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Richland Raiders (Prosper, TX), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats (17-23) will now prepare for their challenge against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX). The Leopards come into the 4A Region II District 9 challenge with a 0-28 record. In their last challenge, Gainesville was nudged by Sanger (Sanger, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders play the Panther Creek Panthers (Frisco, TX) in a 4A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Richland will attempt to upgrade on its 16-15 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 21-12 record after their 3-2 league win over Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX).
