The Van Alstyne Panthers volleyball squad (Van Alstyne, TX), was edged 3-2 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Richland Raiders (Prosper, TX)

The Raiders (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Aubrey (Aubrey, TX). The Chaparrals enter the 4A Region II District 9 contest with a 35-2 record. In their last contest, Aubrey got by Gainesville (Gainesville, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.
