Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Heritage Generals (Ringgold, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 14. Central will attempt to advance on its 24-16 season record. The Generals come into the match with a 27-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA).

With the loss, Sonoraville drops to 18-21 on the campaign.
