Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Central Lions (Carrollton, GA), 2-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Phoenix battle the LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 28. Sonoraville will attempt to better on its 15-16 season record. The Ramblers come into the match with a 24-9 record after their 2-1 league loss to Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA).

With the loss, Central drops to 18-13 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Cedartown (Cedartown, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 4A Area 7 match on Tuesday, September 26.
