Pennsylvania High School Ice Hockey - Moon Area knocks off Hampton
October 14, 2024: Moon Township, PA 15108 The Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) ice hockey trounced the visiting Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA), 7-0 in Monday's league outing.
The Tigers now own a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheeling Park for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 17. Moon Area will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Hampton moves to 2-1 on the season. The Talbots travel to North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA) to encounter the Indians in a PIHL Class A Blue outing on Monday, October 21. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 0-3. North Hills lost 7-5 in their recent league outing against West Allegheny (Imperial, PA)
