The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) and the host Indiana Little Indians (Indiana, PA), witnessed Mars's ice hockey team defeat Indiana by a final score of 5-1.

The Fightin' Planets (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Antelopes come into the PIHL Class A Blue challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Avonworth got by North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA), 11-6, in a league challenge.
