The Mars Fightin' Planets ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the host Butler Golden Tornado to 3 in the Fightin' Planets league victory on Monday.

The Fightin' Planets now own a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richland for a PIHL Class A Blue bout on Thursday, December 19. Mars will play a Rams team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Butler (Butler, PA). The Rams record now stands at 1-10.
