Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), 60-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hiwassee Dam upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Eagles host Swain County (Bryson City, NC) to face the Maroon Devils in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Maroon Devils enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league match on Saturday, November 30. Andrews will face a Panthers squad coming off a 79-29 non-league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
