The Gaston Christian Eagles nipped the host Covenant Day Lions basketball squad by a final score of 55-49 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles face the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, November 9. Gaston Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Stallions enter the outing with a 0-1 record after their 62-46 non-league loss to Ambassador Christian School (Huntersville, NC).
