The Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) basketball edged the host Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC), 74-72 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Halifax for a 1A Tar Roanoke bout on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, Northampton County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC) to play the Pride in a 1A Tar Roanoke bout on Friday, December 6.
