Minnesota High School Basketball - Denfeld holds off Hermantown
December 5, 2023: Hermantown, MN 55811 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Denfeld Hunters (Duluth, MN) and the host Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN), saw Denfeld's basketball squad hold off Hermantown by a tally of 83-77.
With the victory, Denfeld improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hunters host North Branch (North Branch, MN) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Hawks confront the Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN) in a AAA Section 7 challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Hermantown will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 73-69 league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MN).
