In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Chopticon Braves basketball team scored a good 57-41 triumph over the Huntingtown Hurricanes.

In their next game, the Braves meet the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Friday, December 9. Chopticon will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 76-73 league win over Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD).
